Ideal-ist is the first and unique quality labeled international ICT partner search network with 16 years experience. The Consortium members are from EU and Non-EU countries, including Associated States, Eastern European Partner Countries (EEPC) and Mediterranean Partner Countries (MPC) and emerging countries like China, Brazil, India and South Africa. Ideal-ist Project will participate and contribute to ICT 2013 through the following activities
Networking session with ICT Professional Associations, Thursday 07 Nov 13 14:00 - 14:45, Room D
The objective of the session is to bring together Ideal-ist partners and representatives, and key associations active at the European level to discuss possible ways of collaboration to better serve their clients in Horizon 2020. The session will be co-organised by Ideal-ist and the European Research Consortium for Informatics and Mathematics (ERCIM) in close collaboration with the European Forum for Information and Communication Science and Technology (EFICST).

The brokerage event will be co-organized by Ideal-ist and Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) with an aim to provide networking opportunity for actors in the ICT field to build quality partnerships for participation in Horizon 2020. The event is directed to ICT sector representatives from industries, universities and research institutes worldwide, interested in sharing new project ideas and finding collaboration partners.

Ideal-ist will organize a workshop on H2020, on the eve of ICT 2013, i.e. 5 November 2013, from 9:00 to 16:30 at Vilnius, Lithuania. The workshop will be chaired by Dr Paul Drath, Director, Singleimage. The workshop will focus on how to prepare a winning proposal for collaborative research projects in the areas of Societal Challenges and Enabling and Industrial Technologies programmes of H 2020. The workshop will include topics like evaluation process and criteria, chief financial conditions, and rules on intellectual property rights. The main part of the day will focus on the proposal itself, showing how a well designed project and consortium will meet the evaluation criteria. The workshop is targeted at researchers, research managers and advisors preparing proposals or trying to understand what’s involved. The workshop consists of lectures and practical exercises, and is limited to 25 participants.

The exhibition stand will be a meeting and information point for anyone interested in learning more about Ideal-ist activities and services. Visitors can hold face-to-face meetings with Ideal-ist representatives, and have access to Ideal-ist promotional materials, and on-line demonstrations.
